ABOUT DOUG:
Doug Firby is a writer, editor, marketer and social media strategist. Doug has shared his knowledge via seminars and as a sessional instructor in post-secondary schools in Ontario and Alberta. He writes regularly on automotive topics for nationally circulated publications.
ABOUT LISA:
Lisa Monforton was a confirmed winter-dreading flatlander before moving to Calgary. Lisa is a long-time journalist, including a stint as travel editor at the Calgary Herald. She launched her freelance writing career in 2014. Lisa’s stories appear in a number of publications, including WestJet magazine, major Canadian newspapers such as the Calgary Herald, Vancouver Sun and Ottawa Citizen. When she’s not travelling, or skiing, she enjoys the peace of snow-shoeing, hiking, cycling and camping.
